On January 18, 2023, I spoke with several representatives, including Chris from the Loyalty Department. I was informed that I have been paying for a third phone line since March 2020 that was added to my account at the AT&T store in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. I said the salesperson at the store told me by adding a third line I would save money monthly and would pay only $10 for the added line.
On January 18, 2023, however, I was told I have in fact been paying almost $55 more per month for a line I never used and a phone I never received. At that time, I was told my monthly statement would reflect an immediate deduction immediately. I was texted case # 0001 that day, and told AT&T would contact me "by undefined." rate, I am furious with the neglectful and unacceptable way I have been treated.
Desired outcome: The "phantom" line removed permanently, with no cost passed on to me. Additionally, I want a credit awarded for the almost three years I have been charged for this "phantom" line.
AT&T U-verse
I have been loyal to AT&T forever but now they removed two channels from my U-verse (first OANN and now NewsMax), and immediately after removing NewsMax, raised the cost of my U-verse by $16.70 per month.
We are not allowed to actually choose the channels we want but we are charged more when those we actually wanted are removed? Since they were two of my mainly watched channels I am not a happy customer.
In the real world, when something is taken away, it usually is cause to lower costs, not raise them.
AT&T has become totalitarian in their treatment of customers.
Desired outcome: Restore said channels and remove increased non-mandatory billing increase.






ATT Internet
ATT is making hard sales pitches to my townhome community to switch to their services. It is therefore incomprehensible why they would send technicians out multiple times in the past few weeks to dig up our common areas without warning. For the past week, I have had to navigate a muddy canyon just outside of my back patio. It is unsightly and dangerous. Piles of mud and a steep drop off makes the area totally off limits for my child and my dog. Would you like this scene just outside of your patio? If the company has this little respect and regard for my community while courting my business, why would I Ever sign up to be a customer. I hope that my neighbors Reject ATT services also!
Desired outcome: A|T|T needs to fix the mess that they have made!
Using vacation hold for wireless

I went into an ATT office and was told if I upgrade my phones and since we had 4 phones they will give us $1000 towards the new phone. I will not have to pay anything extra. They also asked to add a line so then my bill will not increase.
I paid $78.75, $87.50, $96.25, $96.25.400 for the new phones and they told me that was it. I will not have to pay any extras. I was in the impression that was it,
My bill came in and the amount to pay is $317.83 from $196.91. I picked up the phone and called customer service billing. I spoke to someone by the name of Faye and she advised me she understook I was misled however she could only credit me a one time $35 fee. I asked for the supervisor and I was told he is too busy to come on the phone and it was beyound their policy to provide any other credit.
This is pure robbery and misleading and very poor customer service. I have a very valued and loyal ATT customer but this was the service I received.
Desired outcome: I was told i will not have to pay extra and that is the reason i got an extra line to avoid charges and paid whatever was needed on the day i got my phone.

1619 E Carolyn derby Kansas. Just had fiber installed 2 days ago. Already it is down. Technician will not be here for another 2 days. Unacceptable, was told our service fee will only go up by $2 and change. Only to find out it has gone up by nearly $30. We have online classes to do, plus all other devices are offline.

AT&T advertised free Samsung S22 phone with trade in of Samsung phone. Done on or about 3/3/22. Kept getting a monthly charge for phone. Called the company who said no phone had been returned. Found in a drawer at the store. Several calls and visits to managers resulted in no action. Told we needed to sign up unlimited plan but this was never advertised or mentioned when purchased.
Desired outcome: Return of $200 paid and no further payments taken off.
