I'm very disappointed in the cell c agent who has been offering me the contact
I'm Lionel fillis I'd [protected] did receive a contract with Cell C in January, the agent who offered me the package was crooked over the phone she said that my number was chosen for a new contract deal, I told her I'm not interested in a contract, with all the false promises she actually wins tell me about a two in one deal where I can take 2phones for as little as R270 pm, we agreed, now my debit needs to go of no one can explain me how much will I be paying please contact me urgently on [protected] I'm thinking of going to the media with this issue. Yesterday some one of Cell c told me I'm going to pay R400+, today some of the agents told me that I'm going to pay R573. 40 what the he'll is going really on in this Call center. U Robbing us as Customers I regret to deal with Cell C in the first place and would never recommend any other customers to deal with Cell c

I was handed over by CellC to discovery because I had an account with CellC, then I settled the account in 2023 Jan. I have been trying to get a paid up letter since then to date. The company that I was dealing with told me they are waiting for CellC to send it to them, but nothing. Since then I've been calling CellC myself but still getting empty promises, I really don't know what to do. It's almost a month now but still no response. This is really frustrating.
Desired outcome: I want settlement matter to continue with applications.

Whenever I'm busy on something else on the phone, and a call comes through, I cant answer...no grren button on the phone, no matter if you scroll sideways, or up and down.
Charging the phone through this special adapter causes a sound, and a light goes on...thats not very pleasing at night, if you tri to sleep at night. They tried to help me at th Grove without success. seems my only option is to cancel the contract, or a better phone. Hope you can help. I took pocession of the phone on past Friday, just before the weekend.

Cancel my subscription
I left South Africa in October 2018. I phoned cellC and told them to cancel the contract since I was leaving. I never renewed my cellC contract. I had 2 sims, a data sim and a normal phone bill. The data sim was used for a few months 5 years ago. I emailed cellC to cancel the contract a year ago.
They are still billing me. Not only should the contract have expired, but they should have cancelled it 5 years ago when I told them to and they should have cancelled it 1 year ago when I told them to cancel it again.
Desired outcome: Remuneration for deducted funds in excess of R3600.
Data contract
My contract expired on the 31/12/22 and I was not informed that I need to update my contract. Now on this month's statement I have to pay an extra r450.00 for out of bundle rates. I was not informed of this and was just charged, is this how cell c does business? Don't inform clients that the contract is expired, then charge the more than double the contract...

Never join cellc! Their service and communication is absolutely pathetic!
I received no income through my business in Dec, so my debit order bounced 1/1 and I immediately made an arrangement with them to make double payment end of Jan (ref # and all). Yet, they have, after various emails and calls in this regard, just deducted the amount for a 4th time this month, costing me r150 per debit order bouncing

I called twice to re-activate an account. The account was stopped because you did not process a debit order and I always have funds in the account. Every time I call in to get assistance, you say I failed the authentication.
If this is not sorted out, I will be closing all 3 of my accounts and I will have the rest of my family do the same.

Worst marketing "strategy"
Worst marketing "strategy". If you give this company your information or use their network, expect to be bombarded with sms's and even direct pop ups on your phone through the sim card. I don't know who at cell c thought that would be a good idea. I paid for my phone, sim, data etc. I don't expect forced marketing. Your phone will feel like one of those services that offer a free option but you're forced to watch ads except you would have still paid. Don't think they even care for the feedback so this is just a warning to those considering this network in the interest of transparency.

I took out a contract with Cell C on the phone. They phoned me with a promotion. Aug 2022. Amount sold R 499 pm. I now get billed at R 999 per month, as apparently, the promotion was only available to in store customers, and not online. But this is what the agent told me and the recordings confirmed this. In the meantime - I have been handed over to the collections department as my account is in arrears, which it is not. I am paying the contractually agreed amount of R 499 pm. No one gets back to me, I have to call every time and new cases just get opened. I really don't know what to do anymore.
Desired outcome: I would like Cell C to honor the contract that was sold to me, or cancel my contract and not expect me to pay amounts that I did not agree to.

Staff attitude and upgrade problems
Been with cell c for 11 years 6 contracts in total on my name for my family 1 contract up graded in july 2022 other 5 contract due now but are been running arround from peter to paul
every 2 years during upgrade time its a nightmare go and look on your face book time line youl find me there complaining end of 2019 and again in 2021 but this time exceeds all trouble in those 2 years combine
my monthly payment to cell c avarage arround r7000 per month never missed 1 payment or late payment but this srugle cant carry on like this
need this sorted and going to use your famouse frase within 24 hours or will be canceling 5 contracts due for upfrade now and port my numbers to cell c x3 an fnb connect x2 but this looks like the end of an 11 year partnership. Will also place all over social media screen shot and voice recordings from incompatant staff even managerat your sandton complaint depatment

Unauthorised debit order
There were fraudulent debit orders coming off my FNB account from Cell C. Informed Cell C and was advised to write an affidavit, attached my certified ID copy and a bank statement all these were done back in July 2022. The debit orders were stopped and Cell C blocked my 2 legitimate numbers one of which was on contract with about 3 months left.
I made Cell C aware of that and they consultant even called to clarify which numbers were legitimate and also followed up with an email which there have never been a response.
On 21 December 2022 I got a call from Cell C to confirm my ID number and I refuse to comply. The following day I woke to R3016 from my account from Cell C.
Because of all this my bank account is blocked pending the investigation results from Cell C.Only yesterday after numerous calls and email did get an email saying I must sent through documents. The same documents that I first sent in July 2022
Desired outcome: Stop fraudulent debit ordersReinstate legit debit order in order to settle and close the account.Provide SAFPS with the report so that my bank account can be unblocked
