I ask a machanic on just answer a question. He helped me out I went to pay the machanic I submitted $10.00 and just answer took $100.00 out. I tried to get a refund back from them twice and they will not respond. Got a hold of the bank and they can not find a address, or phone number on just answer. Does anybody have there address and phone number so that we can contact them so we can get the money back that is due to us. You can cotact us at [protected]@verizon.Net

I've just found 2 $70 debits on my credit card. Completely unauthorized. Nowhere did they say that clicking on their website entitles them to take a monthly fee. When told it would cost $30 to speak to a technician I said no way but nah Just Answers decided to take $140 from me. I want that money back. I am a pensioner and can't afford to be ripped off like this.

Yes, Just Answer is a TOTAL scam. I "thought" it "sounded" ethical. In a hurry, I needed a quick answer about cell phone functionality, gave my card # for a quick ? and moved on. No one said: Are you a client or is this a one time only question?. Then started charging me 46.00 per month. My to-do list included call and explain and get refund. Sadly, their business model appears based on getting busy people in a hurry to give their card # and not allow refund when busy people have time to call about the misunderstanding. You do not set up that business model unless you know people in a hurry don't have to read terms and conditions. Businesses with toilet ethics eventually do end up there, but how many people are going to get scammed until they do? I'm a retiree and don't have money for scams. I need that $184.00 to feed my cats.

I have been calling to get my account cancelled for more than 6 months and each time they tell me it is cancelled but I receive a charge the next month. I just called and they suddenly show there were two accounts open under two different emails. She has said that I will receive no further charges and I will be refunded past two months which is a rip off because I have been calling for 6 months but I took what I could get.

This is fraudulent company which starts taking money the moment you click on their website! They took hundred of pounds from my account , in total £945.00 since March 2021,

after several call they refunded only a part of the money! They are now refusing to refund the remaining £345.00 They are scammers who make you believe you signed their terms n conditions moment you click on their website! I had never ever agreed to subscribe to their service! It is a one sided contract which you are not aware of! Unfortunately you end up giving your credit card details when you first click, then they start taking money from your credit card! They are simply fraudulent! So many others have been cheated in similar manner. If you see any good review, it is likely to be their own ! Never ever use this service, it is day light robbery! Beware!

I just went through what seems to be a common issue. their website says $2 for an answer, so I entered my card details to pay the $2 only to find that they had hit me up for a months subscription! WTF? They are the scum of the earth and another parasite on the vulnerable and needy. How do we shut them down? Is anyone running a class action against them? I would like to know!

I was told I would be charged $1 to speak to a vet but I was charged 45 $membership in addition. I was never told about this fee nor did authorize it. It's a rip off

I would like to get my £50 refund.I am not satisfied with the answers.And it costs much than answer why I don’t know.We income by doing hard work and they r taking money for nothing.Completely awful.

Yes, I had know idea I was going to be charged 55.00$, not for a question about a phone, I don't even have a computer. I did not see any place on the form that I was going to be charged this amount of money, very crooked and fraudulent, I should have asked Google for help before I got ahold of these people cause I had more help, I have know tech experience and I've just been taken advantage of.

I asked a question and it says the first 24 hours was $1 and then if I didn't cancel before then I would be charged $46. I cancelled within an hour of asking the question just to be charged the $46! I am furious and frustrated. They told me they could not refund my fees and the operator hung up on me.

I asked one question on this site and within a few hours I was charged $49 Canadian. I called them and got a repeat answer at all levels of no refund available this is a disgusting scam, I am. 69 year old and they had no remorse just a fast run off with my money. I hen it says on the site that you will not be charged and they blatantly charge !

I have asked for a refund repeatedly and they refuse. I think I signed up by accident and it took me 2 months to cancel. I would like those 2 months of payments returned.

Hi Ya'll,
Just been on the phone to " Just Answer ". I was billed $66-00, for an answer to a software question, that they could NOT answer. The Service was made last month, the charge I copped today the 23rd April - $66-00. They must hope that We do not check our card statements. Now they claim I didn't cancel the Membership within the initial 7 days. So what !, they did not earn it, They couldn't answer the question.
Please steer clear of these shaky persons.

You would think a company that is trying to help wouldn't have a page like this. But like everyone else here I to ran across these crooks. I am trying to get a $96.00 refund couldn't even talk to a manager. 100% satisfaction guaranteed but it's not ours it's theirs I do.All we can do is hope people check pages like this before doing business with them.

I was trying to call consumer affairs on a matter and mistakenly got onto a Just Answer web site. As soon as I realized that they were not consumer affairs I told them that I did not want their help and terminated the email. The [censored] are still billing me $66.00 a month for the last 3 months. The only way to stop them was to cancel my bank account.

Under the 30-DAY FREE TRIAL I asked my questions and paid for those questions. Only to have them deduct $53.00 from my account at the end of the month as a "membership fee".
It was my fault for not reading the fine print and cancelling my membership WITHIN 7 DAYS (according to their manager it's in the fine print). He took a long time to respond and did not reply in a friendly manner, told me I should have read the fine print then he immediately logged off, blocking any attempt for negotiation.
Customer Service is a dying skill!

Well I was shocked to read and see how many people have encountered a problem as I thought I had miss read or misunderstood something after noticing on banking statements a REOCCURRING deduction from this site . When I noticed this last deduction had forgotten who the hell they were, then it came to me I had googled a question regarding a covenant term used on a document, on being directed to this site, I was told a ( $5.00 ) fee was required for the definition over the internet and if I needed representation for anything further an hourly rate would apply . On that I got my answer, had no need to acquire them further but now notice ( 2 REOCCURRING direct debits form my bank account over the last months ) of $62.50 and $83.00 on top of the original $5.00 . I'm contacting my banking institution to block any further direct debits from this site. Obviously once my details on the $5.00 banking transaction done via the site before he would JUSTANSWER THE QUESTION has been scammed. Also reporting to Internet websites watchdog about the site take advantage of the procedure use over the phone or internet for payment for goods and services . He's probably a university student studying law, working for the site from his home computer for extra money... that's an understatement ...

To that_guy, and klinggg, what do you to work for ja?
There are always a couple of trolls on every forum trying to lay judgements on the other posts.
As for why I would give my info to someone before getting the service, it is called trust, that_guy, and the service requires it to begin (as all good scams do)
To klinggg, who reads every sentence of a terms and use agreement?
Every online scam in the world uses that thing as an excuse to commit fraud, and steal money, so I certainly hope you got your cut boys!

I am disheartened by this page honestly. :(
I recently tried to use this website to get some help with an automotive issue I was having, and they charged me without me ever accepting anything...
This was after advertising a true mechanic expert, which is what I was paying for, and then switching to a completely different so called "Expert" for my question. Which was, of course, never answered.
So, I tried to take them up on the advertised "30 Day Money Back Guarantee", but this proved to be a lie (see attached)
The only thing I got from my "expert" in response to my question was more questions, as of he was learning as he went, and I want my money back!

I too had $30.00 charges to my account. I called JA at [protected] at they just told me that 7 to 10 business days it would be refunded back into my account. I read the agreement and it stated a 1 time fee of $30.00...

I need a refund. jusanswer been taking money from my account every month and there no contact to talk to anyone regarding the matter. I just seek once their service. oh yeah, and to the people who are [censor]in about the 18 dollar charges they keep getting each month, you guys are the ones who signed up for that. A little pop up came up and asked you if you wanted the 30 day free trial and you had to click yes or no. They offer it to you as a "free 30 day trial" in which you can ask unlimited questions for free, but after the 30 days they start charging you 18 bucks a day for that service. You have to either call them and cancel it, or go into your account settings or whatever and turn it off.
