I have been using Tracfone Wireless as my cellular procider for the past few years, and even have bought two phone from their website, but cannot seem to get any kind of useful customer support from them no matter what I try...
When I try to call the so called 'Support Number' they provide, it is ALWAYS a long wait on hold to get an agent who speaks some very thick foreign accent that I cannot easily understand. So, I try to use their advertised 'Chat Support' option on thier website, but it has recently been changed somehow, and although there are still the numerous fields to fill out information on the window that pops up, there is no longer a button / link provided to begin the chat session. This company has relentlessly provided a very lackluster service, and consistently has technical problems that they appear unable to correct.
Now, they have added the fact that they make themselves next to impossible to get any kind of customer support on top of their terrible track record.
I simply need to ask a couple of basic questions about my phone's features, and since I purchased it from them, they should be able to provide this, but they seem to refuse to provide anything that even slightly resembles customer service, and it is frustrating to the point where I am about to just throw this phone away, go buy a new one, and go to somebody else!
I know it has been a while since I posted this complaint, but I got a response of sorts, from someone named Alex, who claims to be associated with Tracfone Wireless, sent to my Email, except I can find now way to reply to this person as the Email notification says noreply in the sender information...
In any case, what was stated in the response message was to go to the same page I was posting about to chat with Support, but this is not possible, as I showed in my original complaint posting because there is no way provided to begin the chat session. I will post another screenshot showing this here, if it will reiterate my initial concer for this person.
As can be seen in the image, there is no Begin Chat option on this pop up window anywhere, so you can enter your personal information, but that is all you can do as there is no way to start a chat!
All of us with TracFone problems might as well give up, they reuse to help if you have problem. I guess i am going to throw my brand new TracFone which won't act along with three months of service in the trash. Life is too short to have to deal with TracFone and they know, that we will all eventually move on.
